I can see you might have quite a business going here. I would love to purchase such dvds as well.
Some of the material are snippets from companies who are selling an entire dvd, but most dont put a copyright on the little clip. wouldnt want anyone getting into trouble for having copyright infringement. Mind you, lots of the home-made clips use copyrighted songs etc, so it’s impossible NOT to break copyrights, but it’s for own personal use, just instead of having to sit endlessly in front of the computer. So Jakim isnt SELLING the item, just covering the dvd costs and postage…(non-profit)…otherwise it might be a copyright infringement problem…
And it’s better to have pre-checked material to expose your child to, as I saw some horrifying things on Youtube masquerading as childrens’ material. One clip was good to near the end, with a little cartoon character who suddenly grabs his crotch and says “suck my…” well, you get the idea. Then leans forward so his face is angrily filling the screen, and shouts nasty threatening obsenities. Thankfully I saw that one early morning when no-one was up. Another clip was souding good (a US presidents song I think), then in popped the word masturbation.
Some people just dont have lives, do they?

Please also keep me in the loop. I love using Youtube as a learning tool. My son learned letters and the differentiation between upper and lowercase letters perfectly by watching the doctor Seuss ABC video (only available on Youtube) and I have been a believer in using Youtube ever since. I also keep playlists unfortunately somewhat disorganized with it. I would love to learn how to download these videos off youtube to maybe create my own dvd from what I have so far. If you can instruct those of us who may be able to do this we’d be grateful. thanks.
to make your own dvd. download realplayer, so you can save your vidoes, then get a dvd burner software if you don’t have one. thats all.
