Your Baby Can Learn to Read For Free

Did you know your baby can learn to read through the internet? If you want to teach your baby to read for free you can go to http://www.memoflix.com. I have posted this website before. It is a website that has mini movies, in the form of slide shows to teach your baby to read. Each movie is about 1 minute in length and has 10 words with 10 pictures. Some of the files do include sounds effects as well. There are 52 categories right now with 10 words each, which means that there are over 500 words with pictures right now. Imagine what you can teach your baby!

All you have to do to access the website is register to receive your password.

The new categories that were just added are:
In the Music Room
In the Pantry
Reptiles
Snacks
Things We Read
Things We Wear 1
Things We Wear 2
Tools 1
Tools 2

If there are categories that you would like to see in the future just use the contact information on the website http://www.memoflix.com. The library will continually expand.

Enjoy:)

its a great website
thanks for sharing.
will look forward to more of such resources

Thanks a lot for sharing this… very useful website .

These do not hold my kids interest and neither do the Powerpoint presentations. The best thing I have found Is Little Reader words followed by a picture with a sentence or a good teaching dvd. The spoken sentence holds their interest, as well as, teaches them sentence structure and the language versus a word.

If your child is interested enough to watch these videos the only thing they will learn is a word. It is free, but in my opinion is ineffective. The Powerpoint presentations, which are written like a book, will not hold most kids interest. They may work for older children, or younger children who can already read, but I do not think they work well for young children whose attention it is hard to capture.
