I think it depends who you are playing with. I belong to an attachment parenting mom’s group and with the exception of one child, all these children are very well behaved. We get together in small groups and my son wants to know the names of each child and parent and he talks about them after we leave. The other moms also interact with my son and I think more positive adult role models are good. At the same time, I don’t like what I see at library playgroups and other places where parents aren’t as attentive as I am.
I don’t want to put him in a harmful situation, but sometimes I’m socializing so I don’t go crazy.
