Wink Program - Right Brain Kids

Has anyone used the Wink Program? It is put out by the same people that made Tweedlewink, but it is for older children. (Not the Wink to Learn language program.) I would really like to hear what you thought of the program.
Thank you!

i’ve been following this thread that i hope will help. seems a bit mixed, still can’t decide myself. but the creators of the program pop up so you might be interested in that.

Thanks! I’ve read that thread, too. I guess I was hoping to hear a user’s review of the Wink program. Thanks again!

THen, have you bought the Wink program? Do you have any comments?
Unfortunately the thread mentioned above mostly deals with TweedleWink, there are no comments on Wink programm.

Anna Panna, Thank you for asking. No, I have not bought the program yet. I am still interested if anyone has comments on the Wink program.

I think KL has it. Maybe he will chime in.

I would but we only got it recently and haven’t used it sufficiently yet to give it a good assessment…

KL, could you please share your views on Wink program. If anyone else has tried the Rightbrainkids Wink program, please share your thoughts.

Hi All,

Is it required to do the course before watching the dvds ?

Thanks,
Kreena

Hi All,

I have checked the main webpage of TweedleWink (http://www.rightbrainkids.com/) and unfortunately they don’t have any center in Europe  . So, I could not try to join the classes. Could you please give me your advice regarding the DVDs? Could you take full advantage of the DVDs if you have not join the classes?

Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
Gilma

I own the videos but I’m scared to start them because I don’t want to switch over from tweedlewinks too fast.

Yes there seems to be some information on Wink and at the end someone mention having amazing results using it at age 34 but could not find a review on children. It would certainley be nice to know if others have used WINK with children about 6 yrs.

Hi THen,

I do have the Wink program but have no time to start them yet. I bought it for my own as my girl is only coming to 3 years old. As the Wink Program is more targeting for those who is dominant in left brain (> 6 years old) that they can get activated their right brain again. They do mention that (if I remember correctly), parents who are a right brain teacher can teach a child better and this is the reason why I bought the product - to activate my right brain again.

Although I had not start the program yet, but I did used their Memory Train which is a linking memory in Shichida class as my girl is attending the shichida lesson. The memory train is use to memorize a lot of items or cards which is not related by creating funny stories and my girl now can remember up to almost 70 cards. You can tried to take their online course for wink program before decide to purchase the product. Here’s the link: http://www.rightbrainkids.com/training/

Thanks Agnesdecham,

i will look into the online course of Wink program

any review on the wink program? i am using tweedlewink now, and really enjoying with my daughter…
i am considering wink program for myself, wondering if the alpha relaxation technique is good to start on, need to release the stress from work before going home… stress free, then only can start a good lesson with my daughter.

I know this is a very old topic but I would like to know what are others experiences so far.

We have been using the alpha relaxation cd before and during the kids homework. It has made a huge difference to the mood of the kids and they are much more enthusiastic to actually do their homework AND more importantly seem to be relaxed enough ( after a big day at school) to ask questions and learn from their homework rather than just put the right answer in the box. They are participating in their learning rather than just finishing it. Plus I quite like the sound of it…the music that is
We are using memory magic as a replacement to the other wink components for the time being. We will get more wink bits and pieces as they hit the ceiling on the memory magic games, or need a change.
I hope someone has answers to your question I am very keen to find out how people are going with it also. There just doesn’t seem to be anyone here using it, surely someone has some big kids…

Wow! After reading! I have been inspired to go ahead and buy it…I had been waiting because my kiddo is too young! I am already worried that she is Very left-brain oriented and don’t want to show these to her yet, but Mommy wants to learn too! I cannot believe how fast the kids learn! Tonight we were getting ready for bed and TW time! I told her we which one we were going to watch and she said, oh. There is an air purifier in that one.
Huh!!! She doesn’t know what that even is…

But she was absolutely correct, after having watched it once. I want to learn like a toddler!

So I am going to try it! Why not, right? As it seems like all the posts are asking and not really answering, I will absolutely keep everyone updated!!!

Although I cannot promise that this old, currently at home with child, not challenged, brain will be the best example! lol

I ordered them tonight, so here is hoping, right!

hehe thats funny  You will love the linking memory sentances and I bet you are really surprised at how many you remember. I can recall up to 40 easily after only 4 attempts at it. I havnt even tried more than 40 yet as Jaykob is “only” up to 36 and I dont want him peeking! lol I am surprised how fast they pick it up every time we have a go at something.
Next we will get something (other than mandalas, which are loosing their shine  ) for photographic memory training. I think that would be overall a much more useful skill than almost anyother advanced skill taught through the right brain crowd. Imagine going through school being able to see the answers while you do your test!!! Wow.

I am reading the Wink book right now and I have been playing with the idea of buying the whole set for some time now as I aslo want to be ready and know what I am doing when my dd is ready for it.

Are you using - going to buy the whole kit?
