I am 24 weeks pregnant now. It is the first baby for my husband and me. Several days ago, he bought a little stuff for me and my baby from Itunes Store. An iphone app specially designed for babies and moms-to-be.
The name is prenatal lullabies. We played it on my iphone that day. The music is very gentle and the instruction shows that those music have positive benefit to fetal development.
Personally speaking, I like listening to it very much. But my doctor suggest me be far from my phone and computer. He said radiation has bad effect on fetus. But some said it doesn’t have. I am wondering whether I should play prenatal lullabies for my baby on iphone or not.
Thanks. I will have a careful look on them. Thanks for providing so much information to me.
In addition, i heard from one of my colleague that i can use my iphone to play music for my baby. She did so last year. I will have a try. I like prenatal lullabies’s design. Its icon is a fetus. Their page is lovely.
playing music is ok regardless of device, hmm as long a sou don’t place powerful speakers with its powerful magnets on your belly…
what is not good is if you use the phone itself for prolong period. it is not good for you nor for your baby when born. Its not good to hang your phone around your neck or put it in your pocket when preggy … when the phone recieves a call there is a short bust of EMR and when you use it there is a constant connection between the phone and its base.
There is a report issued not long ago about 1 month ago … that prolong usage of phone especially for the very young will result is brain cancer …
oh, brain cancer. Terrible.
i never use speakers to play music. i just adjust the volume at a suitable degree and put it on my belly. i will fall into sleep soon after listening to the music in prenatal lullabies. i am addicted to it. it can give me a good mood and good sleep.
I have been reading about this and it seems ALL wireless devices are bad for you up close… especially cellphones and newly made wireless landline phones… you should ideally keep them away from your body whether pregnant or not
kids are especially vulnerable because their skull bone thickness is less than adults so it lets more radiation through…
