Where can I find mandala?

Does anyone know if there is a site that has mandala that I can print out to use for teaching? Ideally it would be the same pattern with color and without color so that I can show the one with color to my child, then ask her to add the color to the one wthout.

great question! I want to know the answer too!

You can download some free ones from here:

You can buy the activity books from here:

Thanks! Karma to you.

What is the right age to start mandala?

I don’t know, but in Heguru, they do it even in the babies’ class. Actually, it is the parent that does it but the babies watch. I suppose if you’re doing it at home, as soon as you can start to teach your child about colouring you should try. Start with simple ones - two colour patterns and progress in difficulty.

Thank you, ShenLi ,
for sharing that site.I tryed to search for mandalas for my child but i couldn’t find any suitable in google.

Thanks ShenLi. My little ones started scribbling with crayons a few weeks ago, i assume this will be the right time to start. Let me try them!!

These are fantastic! Thank you!

Susankhan,
Thanks for all those links. I love all that has to do with visualization. My mom use to say I had a photographic memory since a child.

ShenLi,
What a nice place the one on homeeducation. I can be hours there and really get valuable ideas.

Karma to both of you.

hi Susankhan and ShenLi,

Thanks for the website link! Although my girl joining the shichida class but the teacher haven’t start the mandala yet. The shichida school in Singapore do sell the Mandala’s education set. I will try to check up the website and see if my girl enjoy the lesson =), Thanks a lot

Please help me understand what the mandala is all about. From what I get from it is its an activity that helps calm the soul. Basically something peaceful, and allows the child to work on fine motorskills as well as creativity? Please help me understand.
Thank you

These are great. Thank you for all the wonderful links!
