I would also be curious when start the little reader program and how best to start (tailored approach) for younger babies.
i started lR to my elder at about 18 months. thats just lr came to market n for my younger at 4 months old. we r doing nice. my elder is going to be six years by july n she is fluent in English, but still is showing very much interst to lr
I started Little Reader when my daughter turned 9 months and we are planning on starting Little Math at 10 months. Before that we have been watching the Your Baby Can Read DVDs (since about 3 months ocassionally but regularly since about 6 months) and we also used some Sight Word Flashcard apps on my phone.
We started teaching reading with big red word cards but started using LR shortly after it became available for beta testing. I think dd was just over one year. For the longest time we just used the print function to print off the cards as this held dd’s attention better.
With my oldest we started YBCR at 22 months and Little Reader when he was 4.
My youngest started Sparkabilities at a week old, LR on the iPad and physical flashcards at 3 months old, LM and LMS at 8 months old.
