What is the best age gap between children?

I was wondering if anyone is planning to have their chldren further apart in order to concentrate on each childs early education. I believe that Glenn Doman wrote that children ideally should be at least three years apart. That way the older children can help teach the younger ones.

I’m an older mommy so this might be my only one, but I was curious what factors others take into consideration when planning their families.

I think 3 years apart is good spacing. That way you don’t have two kids in diapers, and the older child can understand what a baby is a little better, and then he could help teach the baby too.

I agree with three years of space is a good time to recover your body streght

Is there some research some where that suggests what the best age gap is between kids? I have tralled the internet and i cant seem to find any research on the topic? Either isn’t any or im not looking hard enough?

Does any one have any insight into this subject or have more than one child with varying age gaps between your children?

Does having them to close together effect their early learning negatively or positively? I would like to hear other’s opinons on this topic?
