What are your favorite youtube videos

What are your favorite youtube videos in any subject? I’m trying to come up with a playlist of quality videos in a variety of subjects.

TmT has put together a nice playlist that we’ve been going through. (she probably didn’t know I was stalking her! ) http://www.youtube.com/user/TeachingMyToddlers/videos?view=1&flow=grid

I’m especially glad that she pointed out Tiny Grads. I wasn’t going to do ball and stick writing with my kids, but it’s better than nothing, and my kids have responded very well to it. Ms Victoria is really cute.

I stalk Tonya too. :D.

From her playlists I discovered the Eureka! Physics series. James loves them.

Right now we are loving the appuseries math videos.

We watch Number Crew. I have a playlist for many of those set up.

I think it is KidsTv that does the Countries of the World songs.

Thanks for the luv guys! I’ll add on Number crew this week (as I swipe your suggestion) and let me know if there are others anyone would like to see. I’d like to keep it growing! oh, and I need to add in addition/subtraction facts too, I just haven’t done it yet because we are learning them differently but I know others will be happy to have them on there.

Thanks. I have my own playlist started and it does have a lot of overlap. So far I like the English flashcards and have added that. I was looking for good flashcards but was having trouble finding any that were not advertising or with a heavy accent or written in all caps. So thanks for discovering those. I added appuseries from the online math curriculum thread. I also added the dad dude stuff.

I am going to get on a computer now and clean up my playlists. If anyone is interested my YouTube name is danae4kq.

I just made this playlist. It is the Grade 1 Appuseries maths.

Our favourite Geography Songs and a one of the 50 United States

This one starts off with tolerable addition songs (at least I like them). It also has time and prepositions.

This is a channel full of many earlylearning ideas and tutorials. I wonder if anyone in here made this channel… I have no idea how I found it but it has been sent to my email for a long time.

does anyone like “Alphablocks?” This is a decent playlist. I think alphablocks is a pretty creative way to reinforce phonics when you are having a sick day which there seem to be lots of those this season. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBE90F1D7E914DEB3

Here is my playlist for “Cuentas y Mas.” A very good bilingual program in Spanish.

Here is my playlist for Chinese songs, lessons and colors. They compliment my step daughter Chinese lessons she gets at school. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQr2_NbuXa1NuRPNbZuvO6Hytvd17ZKHa&feature=mh_lolz

Here is my playlist of foreign language children book readings (Chinese and Spanish). http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQr2_NbuXa1MjSesvVXyakhyMbI0DJqny&feature=edit_ok

TMT has great playlists. I love “El Perro y El Gato”!!!

We love alphablocks  We watch them on the bbc iplayer though so I didn’t consider checking youtube for them

Our absolute favourite English program at the moment is Nina and the Neurons (which I just found out is also on youtube) - they break down simple scientific concepts and do experiments to figure things out. After one episode on cable cars, Nikki tried to drag me out the door so I could take him immediately to London to ride on the cable cars lol

Mostly, we watch Fixiki (something of an obsession in out house) http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0C60546EB06D619A and sometimes Luntik http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLF40DD57434E48E66 in Russian.

Fixiki have now done an American translation Fixies which is odd to watch when you have seen the program in Russian 1000 times, but not bad. They are short programs that explain how things are made and other similar science-y ideas. So far there are 3 English language episodes, but I think more are planned soon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPpuGszvxQI&list=SP4E09BA70306D3536

We also “stalk” TMT. lol

We also had made a whole playlist of just Number Crew videos, but as far as I can tell they were blocked by channel 4. We haven’t been able to find them on youtube for over a week, so if anyone can direct me to them I would be very happy! Number Crew was used as a “reward” for doing other things!

Thanks for all the other suggestions, MummyRoo, Cokers, and Korrale!

Sadly as Bradley (and now my son) says. “It’s all going wrong!”
Number crew has gone. :frowning: I can’t find it either. I was looking last night.

Can you please add the link for your ‘Cuentas y Mas’ playlist? I cannot find it…
Thanks a lot!

oops, here you go. sorry about that.

Thanks!

Here’s a few favorites for older kids. My 5-year-old watches these, my 3-year-old wanders away before they are done.

And for budding chemists, a video for every element:
