Besides LR, LM and LMs, can you suggest very good resources for early learning reading, math and encyclopedic knowledge?
There are so many I feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start! Thanks
A lot of people really like YBCR and Monkisee for starting out learning to read. Of course reading books with your child consistently is super important. For math, I’m finishing up reading Marshmallow Math, and I love all of the ways it suggests that parents incorporate math into their kids’ daily routines with games, etc. I can’t use some of the methods yet, as my daughter is under a year old still, but it is an excellent book. For EK, I like Tweedlewink.
Beyond these…I like Memoflix and Wink to Learn for reading and the Baby Doesn’t Count app for math on the iPad.
I know there are more that I am forgetting, but hopefully this gets the list started.
thanks!
