Sight word acquisition is an important building block in the construction of a child’s ability to read. Once she is able to read all of the words on Dolch’s lists for example, she has access to up to 75% of what is printed in almost any piece of children’s literature. How exactly do teachers and parents help children develop their stores of sight words? There are several proven techniques that any adult can use to teach sight words. The Cat in the Hat by Dr. Seuss
Let’s Say Hi to Friends Who Fly! by Mo Willems
The Alphabet Tree by Leo Lionni
Dear Deer: A Book of Homophones by Gene Barretta

i found two sets of books so far:

  1. Scooby -Doo phonics reading program 1 & 2

  2. non fiction sight words readers from www.scholastic.com

Actually not all of books out there engage kid attention and correctly teach them what you want. in my opinion as an experienced teacher the Penguin books ranges are one of those quality ones. there is also another one I found effective: My Book of Simple Sentences: Learning about Nouns and Verbs (Kumon Workbooks). both available on Amazon. hope they work
