VOCABULARY DVDS???

Do you know DVDs that show the vocabulary in bits, taking into account the typical topics: daily routine, rooms, utensils, common objects in each room, hobbies???

I have looked at Glenn Doman´s DVDs. I want to see something easier. I bought picture dictionary longman. But it is not visual… Sometimes I put it while she is playing, but it is not so effective,

Nuria, you can always do different categories from the free library section of Little Reader, there are literally hundreds categories like that you can download - different themes and topics - http://forum.brillkids.com/downloads/?cat=63

From what I understood you are looking for simple presentations where words are shown with photos, right? Just to understand in whichnwa way Doman DVDs were too complicated?

If the speed or word selection is an issue, then showing things in Little Reader probably would be the solution, as you can customize everything making it a perfect fit. Otherwise Doman DVDs ( if you would want to work with DVDs) would probably be one of r best ones out there - simple, clear with no other distractions on the picture/word

Another one to try is Twiddlewink.

Let us know how is it going!

Check out www.memoflix.com. Just sign up for a free account and you can see a lot of samples of the slideshows. They cover all kinds of vocabulary.

Wink To Learn has loads of vocabulary in different languages. They are in DVD format, more accessible than a PC software.

Thank you for your recommendations.

I love Memoflix! We plan on starting it as soon as we are done Tweedlewinks.
