Toddler walking on his tiptoes

My 1 year old son is still doing his “toes walk”. Clueless on how to guide/assist him on proper walk. Waiting patiently, I am hoping he will get over it naturally.

Anyone out here, whom like to provide advice or share your experience?

Thank you!

Hello

Is your son walking without holding on? or is he surfing around the furniture?

He is an early walker compared to my own three children - and also my youngest three grandchildren - none of whom bothered to walk till between 13 and 18 months lol

I should think that they all did this for a few days or weeks at first, except for one of the girls who was 18 mths before walking, but is now nearly 18yrs and training to be a ballet dancer lol

I think it could be that at first they remember walking in a baby-walker - or being supported by an adult which naturally places the baby’s toes lightly on the floor.

I feel sure that his his walk will come right within a short time.

He is walking on tiptoes with holding on and surfing around furniture.

I am not sure whether using the baby-walker previously has contributed to this or not. But I have stopped putting him on baby-walker.

Thanks, hope that his walk will come right soon.

Cheers
