Here are some crafts for acorns. We have tons of acorns in our yard, so why not use them.
Today we made animal tracks with our acorns, by making edible paint with powdered sugar and rolling th acorns in our paint then rolling the painted acorn onto a piece of consturction paper opposite to the paint color. They are so cute. We made alligator tracks today since we are studying to be attentive in my 4 year old co-op class.

Good ideas! I’m so scared to pick any kind of nuts or acorns. When I was little, I picked a bag full and brought them in the house. The next day, I went to play with them and they had worms in them! Yuck! I never picked any again!

oh, worms, not good! That’s why I soak mine in water first. I had the same thing happen to me when we go and pick paw paw trees. I was raised on a farm so worms meant nothing to me. I loves the tobacco worms to play with, yuk! I know.

Well, worms aren’t so bad, These were smaller, sort of like maggots.
