Teaching your child to be physically superb

Hi Everyone

I am taking Sophia this term to Gymbaroo and Swimming lessons. I would like more information on why it is so important for your child to learn how to swim to be physically superb. In Australia Swimming lessons is something we just ‘do’ it is kind of expected in childhood that at some stage your child will learn how to swim. This is because every major Australian city is located on the coast so the beach is very nearby and for safety reasons they need to know how to swim well enough to save themselves if caught in a rift or go out to deep, but i would like to be enlightened more into the physical ‘superbness’ side of swimming and why this is so important and how it relates to learning everything else?

I would recommend reading the Glenn Doman book ‘How To Teach Your Baby To Be Physically Superb.’ Basically, doing physical stuff helps their brains grow new synapses. Read the book, it’s very interesting.
