teaching to read in two different languages

 I am currently teaching my son, who is one year and 4 months, to read in two languages, English and Spanish (that is my native language by the way)

What I’m doing is to speak and teach him to read in English to my son. I asked my mother and rest of family to teach him to read in Spanish following in some way my pieces of advice. they speak to him in Spanish and actually is the language he listens to the most. That’s what Im doing to avoid confusion, but I would like to know if there is something else that I must do in order to avoid confusion. I will really appreciate your comments and advice

i’ve ever been told that one way to teach kids 2 language is speaking to kids a language in the morning and a language in the afternoon . that is work !..so i guess what you do now is another right way too. keep going

Marielaa your method is perfect! Keep it up and your child will be confidently bilingual in no time.
