Does anyone have any suggestions for swing sets? Do pine and cedar sets splinter too much? should you get redwood?
I wish I could afford a wooden swing set.
I know we are looking. It is unbelievable what they are charging! We are looking at getting one that is combination playhouse/swing set. My daughter could never afford one on her own.
The wood ones last. My mom still has one from when I was 9 or 10.
We purchased one playhouse/swing set made from wood last summer. It is safe I think, besides my husband made extra support with extra wood(just in case), My daughter loves it…everyday even in winter she wants to go to the swing set. We bought it at the end of summer 2009, sometimes there are good deals at end of season but they are still really pricy.
E loves swing very much. she ask us to buy swing set very frequently.
but the thing is our apartment is not very big.
