Just counted all the different words my daughter can sign today – and it is close to 30- 35!
She started signing some of the words around 12 months, and now, whenever we read book, do LR or YBCR, she would sign many of the words as we go along. The fun part, she would also do it before the word is read, so… she reads it and then signs it.
It is really amaizing to see her so happy and eager to communicate!
That’s great! I remember the days when my son was signing left and right; it was so cute! And weren’t you worried a few months ago b/c she wasn’t signing yet?

Makes your life so much easier,doesn’t it? It is such a great way to comunicate with your non speaking baby and also with older children,once they learn few of them keep up the good job mom, be consitent, teach her more signs so she can improve her signing vocabulary.
