Should I Allow It?

Hi,

I have been working on Keynote (powerpoint version for Mac) for flashing my son. I also wanted to try out printing cards out and using them. My question was is it ok to give it to him after we do our reading? I am just curious, since he may like that I am giving it to him after wards and might enjoy it more.

I wouldn’t allow him to play with the flashcards. Prehaps you could make him a book with those words in it for him to have after. Sometimes if you allow them to play with them they will eventually not want to wait till the end of the lesson, and the flashcards themselves will become a distraction.

I totally agree with Waterdreamer.
I’ve created many books on Power Point from BrillKids as an addition to the Power Point presentations. Eaton loved that idea. He started to read from these books. So I would suggest to create books instead of playing with as a cards.

Have a great day!
