see and learn for visual learners

I found this product on a downs syndrome website, but apparently it’s good for all visual learners. They sell the hard copies of these kits, but they can be downloaded for free apparently. From what I can gather, they are trying to get funding up to get this product out, and it isnt out yet. Check it out, if we can get behind it somehow to get it off the ground, we can get our free downloadables…it looks fantastic!!! If anyone can locate the free downloadables (the entire kit they reckon!!), let us know!!!

Oh wow! great find! I am at work right now, but I will try to download them when I get home…after trick-or-treating ofcourse…

Trying to find those free download is a task tho’. I managed to find these:

You can find their vocab list here:

See and Learn Numbers, See and Learn Memory, and See and Learn Speech are not yet available. But they, too, will also be free of charge once they become available.

Hope this helps!

I tried to download the file containing all 48 cards, but it says it is damaged.

It’s damaged? That sucks. Did you try downloading it again?

Yes, twice. I even switched to the US version of the cards and tried it, and that wasn’t working either. You can download each card individually, but that will take a while. I just emailed them. Hopefully I will get a response.

Thanks MFuego. I tried your links and they downloaded for me…took a minute or two.

The first link MFuego suggested covers the first words, and 2 part and 4 part baseboards, so the 2nd link is part of the same stuff.

The more first words are here (single words, 2 and 4 baseboards)…

Here are sentence books for download with great photos and pictures…

here are the word cards to use with the sentences…

The word baseboards 84KB file came up with blank squares…but clicking on each file individually had a baseboard. Not sure if they are previously covered ones. Let us know…

There are more words and sentences currently under development. There are also record sheets for downloading, and heaps of games listed to use these cards for. (for which to use these cards…mustn’t end a sentence in a confunction. Or is for a preposition? Cant remember).

Well, I can’t get them to download. Adobe reader opens and says this file is damaged and cannot be repaired. I have the latest version installed.

If you cant get it to work after a while I (or someone closer to you) could pop it on cd and send it to you. Or would it work sent as an attachment from someone who has opened it??

I was finally able to download them.
