Science Link

We have been poking aroundo n this site for a couple days. It isn’t going to be useful for my son for at least 2-3 years. I might even wait until after finishing the first 2 books of Building Foundations of Scientific Understanding by Nebel. but it is a super interesting site and wish I’d had science classes like these. I’m thinking DadDude, Mandabplus3 and others with older children.

It is expensive, but I think it is probably worth it. THey are offering a free download right now with 30 or so experiments and you can watch a free online class here - http://www.superchargedscience.com/replay.htm it is available for the next 10 hours…

Oh thank you so much Sonya! I have been stalking these guys for a few weeks/months undecided. I have a science mad 8 year old but she is free time poor at the moment. She should be able to work independently on these so we don’t both have to be free the whole time. The opportunity to try them out first is great. Thankyou! I shall post an update once we try a few experiments.

I was hoping someone would try them out and give a review before we plunged in and got the whole program. I sat through the free live lesson yesterday. It was good. Please do let us know how it goes!!!

I am going to have to join the co-op. Htank you Kerileanne!

oh sonya, that’ll cost you lol They have some awesome deals, we almost always want them all!

Yes, I stopped by and yes I want a lot of them. However, we are no where near ready to use most of them. I joined anyway. I’d get the super charged science if it had longer online access, I’ll have to wait and keep my money - oh how I like to keep my money and I know how much this home school thing can cost - the online classes at $500 a semester, the books…the books…the books. the labs…we own a bookstore we have about 30,000 books stored in our house…you’d think I’d never need to purchase another book as long as I lived. Yet we are at the library at least 2x a week and I am forever ordering more curriculum.
