it seems all the apps I can find are meant for iPad or Android. But we only have a Windows Phone at home and it seems we will have it for a while. No budget for tablets or new phones right now!
I have been exploring the apps for Windows Phone and decided to make a list for those of you who are in a similar situation. We don’t use them too often, only when waiting at the doctor’s or similar boring situations. Our phone has a “child’s corner” which has only kids apps, and so far we have found:
MATH
Math for kids - this one is great! Lots of counting, numbers… cute pictures and music.
How many - very basic dot counting app
READING
Sight words - in English
My sight words - can be customized with the words you want, in your language (not only English!!)
MUSIC
Cat piano
Piano melody free
Baby piano
Pianist music studio
A BIT OF EVERYTHING
Kids play and learn
BTW, all these are free apps! Some are not great but they are useful anyways.
