question about book series from Living language

There are book series from Living Language for learning different languages (French, Spanish, Italian). They have Baby’s first steps in French (Italian and etc), for example http://www.amazon.com/Babys-First-Steps-French-Erika/dp/0609607413
and Baby’s first words in French (Italian and etc), for example http://www.amazon.com/Babys-First-Words-French-Erika/dp/1400023653
Does somebody have them both? What is the difference between “steps” and “words”? Is it worth buying both?

No, those are different editions of the same thing. “Steps” was released in 2001 and “Words” in 2007. They both have the same CD of songs and rhymes and an accompanying booklet of the lyrics in English and the target language. I would recommend getting the newer edition only.
