I am looking forward to your reading tutorial and subsequent presentations. Will there be an option for British English spelling? 
British English, maybe. We might have to hire somebody with a British accent.

This is very exciting! My baby hasn’t started any reading program yet but I have a few theoretical questions. Would you do sight words and phonics, like LR, or just phonics? I want both, but I can make sight word power points myself if I have a phonics program. Will all words come paired with pictures? Can you turn that option off and have flash cards alone? Not that I think I’d want to, but I might. How easy would it be for the user to alter the slides? For instance, my baby’s learning English and French. It would be nice to open a day’s words, replace all the English with French, and save the new file to show another day. If the process took less than five minutes, that would be a plus.
I read your blog and am wondering if your project could be utlized on dvds for the poor in 3rd world countries? :unsure:
I dont know if you’ve read this thread (http://forum.brillkids.com/coffee-corner-general-chat/educating-the-poor-my-idea/), but that is my current project for 3rd world countries, beginning in Africa.
They need education more desperately than we do, particularly as so many of these kids (orphans, street kids and such) suffer from sexual abuse and have very unhappy, joyless lives. 
Even those thought to be safe in schools often have a miserable time :mad: (http://plan-international.org/about-plan/resources/news/kenya-teacher-sacking) >:( and educational dvds full of life and colour and merriment would help bring some sort of joy into their lives.
It would take their minds off their unhappy situations for a while, and possibly give them hope to dream beyond their situation.
