Phonics videos in Spanish!

I just wanted to share with you some videos I found on Youtube for those of you who are teaching your child to read in Spanish.

I quite like them and my daughter finds them funny too. I haven’t found many resources like this so far.

They are called “El mono silabo” (“the syllable monkey” or something like that) and teach ma, me, mi, mo, mu… etc.

Find them here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss75fhtts84&list=PL04_iQLCxgZJGiv2dljq6876diUl0VLwP

Can’t wait to watch them! Thanks for sharing!! I’m always looking for for resources in Spanish…

Awesome! The playlist has 16 videos for Mono Silabo in it so there are several videos to chose from!!! Thank you for this resource!

We started showing these to our daughter a little while after you posted this, and she loves the videos! She even repeats many of the sounds as she is watching. Thanks for sharing your find! Let us know if you know of any others along the same lines.

Hi all and happy New Year

I found yet another set of videos similar to the first ones!

We just checked a couple of them out, and they’re pretty good! They’re not as entertaining, but they are just as informative. My daughter watched them and repeated some of the words they said, so thank you for the additional resource

Great resource, thanks! We liked the first set best; el mono silabo…
