Online music program

Got it from another group. Sounds interesting so sharing it…

Discover, Learn, and Play http://www.discoverlearnandplay.com/ is a music learning program developed by the The Dallas School of Music http://www.dsminfo.com/. Through the DLP Music Initiative, we are reaching out to ask if your homeschool group or organization might benefit from providing its members access to this program.

For just $20 per month all interested members (regardless of number) (or 9.95 per month for one memember one instrument) can access these lessons on any of 39 different instruments. There is absolutely no minimum or maximum enrollment membership length and you can cancel at any time. All curriculum material and resources are available online and can be used with any Internet ready device such as a desktop or laptop computer, smartphone, iPad, Kindle or iPod.

Please take a look at the DLP home page http://www.discoverlearnandplay.com/ where you can read and hear more about how the program works.

Interesting? I wish there would allow a free week trial or something. They say all ages, but I wonder if its really appropriate for a 5 year old? I might look into it more closely this summer when we are on our break from our Suzuki lessons

heath,

It looks good. Do you know anyone that has suscribe to it? If so , for what age? It allways good to have references or at least to get a trial as waterdreamer mention.
My grandson is 4 and he likes music but i think he is a little inmature to follow the program just now.

Sorry, don’t have any personal reference… As I said, I got it from another group. Somebody was using it and they like it. I don’t know the age of their kids.

I will send a note to them and ask them to join here and provide more information.
