Tx, good site! K to you

Hi heath,

What a find!!! I haven’t had any access to an abacus and was trying to show my son the downloads of the abacus in Little Reader - which I thought were really good - but he just wasn’t getting the concept so I just left it. But now I could explain and show him how it works and then perhaps the downloads would make more sense.

Many thanks

Dear All,

I have never used an abacus and always wanted to learn. How do we use it and teach it to our children?

Thanks.
Ayesha

Someone was just asking me the other day if I had used an abacus with Marina. I put it on the mental list and might have forgotten about it for awhile if it weren’t for you, heath - thanks.
Here’s a brief explanation on youtube, followed by another, more extensive resource:

wow, pretty amazing! great tools, although i don’t think you can replace the actual abacus & doing it on the actual beads, not just clicking buttons… these sites are great tutors
