I have been looking for nursery rhymes in Hindi. Since I don’t speak the language it is hard for me to tell which ones are good or more popular. Any links? dvds? youtube videos???

Hi, I’m from India and most nursery rhymes from there are passed on by word of mouth, so to speak. It’s because there are so many languages and dialects within the country. Some old indian movies have songs in them that are child-friendly and really iconic - these tend to be sung to kids too. I’ll be happy to give you a list of those and other commonly sung children’s songs in Hindi - PM me. I’m teaching my kids Hindi too so it’ll be easy to share. (Sorry, my child is crying so I can’t stay on the computer longer!!).
