Hey there just wanted to introduce myself. My son is 15 months old and has trisomy 21 (Down syndrome). He is doing fantastic! I have had a very mixed up reading programme for him since he was just weeks old but am now looking forward to being a little more organized through LR and other Brill programmes. I am going to need some help with the technology part! Lol. We have an iPad and I have the free LR app but am ready to look into financial help/sponsorship to get the whole programme on the iPad. If anyone can help me figure out how to do this?! I am thoroughly enjoying all the fantastic info this site provides, it makes the various approaches easy to understand and bring into our day seamlessly. Thanks for a great resource!!! H

I have a 4 y/o little girl in my daycare with Down Syndrome. She is doing wonderfully. She is reading (I didn’t know how well she could read until the new LR came out), learning music with Little Musician and Soft Mozart, and we are starting on math. She was potty trained at 2 1/2. I have gotten tons of wonderful advice from the moms on this forum. Make sure you check out the specials needs threads. There are several moms on here who have amazing blogs. I learn so much from them. It is wonderful.
How many points do you need to acquire a semester? Can we still donate points directly to other members?
You can donate points to other members. with the points you can get 25% discount coupon. It takes 3750 points for 1 semester and 5000 for both. .
Just a note, BK has removed the possibility of donating loyalty points, but once they are incurred by member, you can of course, use this significant discount!
And, as always, PLEASE inquire regarding scholarships!
