Need help in DIY - crawling track.

Hi there!

I am currently in the process of putting the materials together for the crawling track project. Got the plywood cut to size, got the EVA rubber foam. I am nervous and clueless as how to start! What comes next? Do I screw on the plywood then glue the foam in one large big peice over the crawling track or do I cut the foam to the size of 3 individual plywood sizes then screw the boards together?? Need help from all who have made one.

We just recently made ours. You can read about it on our blog: http://domaninspiredparenting.blogspot.com/2010/01/infant-crawling-track.html

We actually didn’t want to use glue–just imagien your child breathing in those fumes. So what we did was we just pulled the material (are you using naughahyde) really tight and stapled it to the bottom of the board.

You’ll want to upholster each piece separately and THEN attach them together.

Let me know if you have more questions!
