My son refuses strongly to see LM. When I open it up, he shouts “no” immediately. I tried to change icons to be more personalize with him. It worked for some days and then he just stopped interesting in it and now this trick doesn’t work anymore.
I tried print out the cards with red dot and flash for him but he doesn’t like it either.
Now I feel I have no way out and no hope to get my son to understand math. Does anyone get the same problem? Do you have any clue for me?
By the way, my son is now 2-year old. He started to refuse LM when we started few sessions of sum.
don’t worry pum. just wait for some days and try
or you can go to the very first lesson where he enjoy maths. for addition you can have some thing that he likes.
for example if he like balls then you can use balls n start addition until he shows interest.
My girl can’t stand LM as well, she is 2. Maybe we started late. I just ask her to watch, and promise to do something that she likes, like watching a cartoon.
Don’t give up just keep with it. Switch it up from time to time but always make it fun. :clown: Here’s a trick. You may want to start the lesson when your little one is a few feet away from you. Interact with the lesson, make it seem like you are having a lot of fun. (In his head he will be thinking mommy/dad looks like she is having a lot of fun. I want to have fun with mommy/dad) Then watch him come towards you an embrace the lesson.
I have the same LM problem with my 2 y/o, sreaming & rolling on the floor when I on LM.
As it, we stopped somewhere at day 70+, but with LR/LC with are almost done even Semester 2 in
just a few days.
Maybe I should just adopt the idea of Elearning & see what happens !
Hope you get some good ideas! Don’t give up on teaching math! I thought my LO would never enjoy it, but she really does now and we are seeing lots of improvements daily!!!
