My kids sing the scale every time they go up and down the stairs. Well, almost every time. I’ve got a lot of other ideas in a product I’ve been working on for more than a year. It’s finally done, and will be released later this week. Yep, shameless plug. :slight_smile:

We thought we invented this idea, haha :yes: I was sure someone else was doing it!

We have music color coded notes along stairway as well, the idea was actually suggested by my oldest daughter ( 3 yo) after she watched Tunables with their bell family. She wanted to place the notes on the stairway, so we did it! :yes:

We also made a giant magnetic board with staff and color notes – fun for little hands and sets of color coded note cards for different play activities.

I will try to post pictures, once I will figure out how to take them, my hubby’s camera bag got stolen 4 days ago, so we are without camera now :frowning:

No, I didn’t invent the stairs. :wink: For me, it was inspired by the musical stairs in Sweden. I’m glad someone else is doing it! The first couple of times I tried it, they didn’t last very long, but this time around, the kids have left them up for three weeks, so I’m thinking they will stay this time. lol

Yes, magnets are great- especially since the music notes need to be moved around so often.

No, they aren’t magnetic. I did think of making a magnetic one, but it seemed like an expensive way to have the same thing. I might change my mind when the ‘notes’ start flying around the house, though lol
