Music camp for small children

Hello,

Does anybody know whether there is music camp for small children? I found a lot of music camps in different countris but they are all for minimum 10 years old kids. I am thinking that it would be a very good idea to take part of it (of course together with parents) in order to motivate a child to play a music instrument. I think a child will be very inspired seeing when other children playing. We started to learn how to play violin some time ago (my son is 2.6). At the beginning we were playing every day, he really loved it but now he is losing interest more and more.

What country are you located in so we might better help you?

We are from Netherlands. But camps in any European country is fine with me, will travel for a holiday

I know the Suzuki Association of the Americas conducts summer camps (called Summer Institutes) for students in the USA, Canada, South America, and Australia: http://suzukiassociation.org/events/institutes/ Maybe you can contact the European Suzuki Association to see if they have similar events.

Thank you, I sent them e-mail. But it seems that European association is a bit immature than American (it is just impression I got from the website).
I also found the following site with the list of music camps - http://www.johnsonstring.com/summer01/international_05.htm - for older children
