mandarin music cd's..

I would like to introduce my daughter in the the next months mandarin…anyone has ideas? I would like to purchase music cds …or books?
thanks

I live in Los Angeles area in California, United States. I went to China Town and bought a music DVD in Mandarin. It is basically karaoke. It has cartoon along with the children singing the songs and the words highlighted on the bottom of the screen. It is just like any karaoke dvd you would buy. I think it is a gret way to teach kids that are older. I am not sure how well it is for younger kids. My son is going to turn one in a week or so, I have not shown it to him, but plan to maybe a year from now. You might want to look into buying something like that. It only cost me $5 us for one DVD. Affordable! lol lol lol

You can look at some info on this thread

Just did not want to re-type it.

Hope it helps

Thank you, huizhilanxin, its great to have you here and thank you for your help and ideas! I probably would have some questions to ask, since I do not speak Mandarin, but hoping my daughter will

Thank you so much!! I probably will ask you for some ideas dear friend. Karma to you

huizhilanxin,

Thank you so much for sharing the website. The issue is that some of the moms here that are interested in teaching our babies Mandarin don’t know a bit of Chinese (including me off course  ) , so it is almost impossible to figure out the site :frowning: Could you give us some guidence?

Thanks!
