There are a lot of great leveled readers for each level of fluency. They are formatted for downloading and printing ( which is great when you are not in an English speaking country and it is difficult to get ahold of english readers), there are also worksheets, activities, lesson plans for EACH reader. And they literally go from the easiest ones to pretty advanced.
You can get 7 day free trial with limited downloads. I finding it a real good addition to the readers we have already.
We love this site. Just a pity that it is a bit expensive for us to renew each year :(. We have quite a few of the beginning books printed out as our beginning readers. My daughter with autism also LOVES the sister site RAZ-kids which has each book read aloud and with simple animations for each page. It is very easy to navigate and very engaging. From memory I think it also highlighted each word as it read.
I have a stash of the Reading A-Z books from when I was a classroom teacher. I used them ALL THE TIME with my students and I’m using them now with my son. These are great little books. I haven’t been to their site for years (only because I have books to level J in my stash) but I would recommend them, certainly. I didn’t always use the extension activities (worksheets) but the majority of them were helpful. And, now, seeing this post, I just may try their trial period and download some of their higher levels. Thanks for the reminder Skylark, off hand, do you know what level they go up to?
Till level Z, total 27 levels, their last levels are recommended for 9-11 years/5th grade. But of course, it is totally different with our early learners on this forum
