Hi All,

So…I am onboard with the word flashing…onboard with sharing the time with phonics teaching…and now I’m getting a little bored.

I’ve seen some awesome blogs about moms & dads who plan some amazing things for their toddlers/preschoolers that are along the lines of “Letter of the Day” - highlighting only one letter and its sound a day. I’m thinking of adding this to the mix even though my son knows about 80% of the letter sounds already. I think it may infuse our regime with a bit of fun. Do any of you visit blogs or other sites that feature Letter of the Day activities? If so, which sites/blogs would you recommend?

One of my favorites is http://confessionsofahomeschooler.blogspot.com/. She has lots of creative ideas in the ABC’s & 123’s section and also has free printables.

I second this one!!
This site also has activites for letter of the week. You could tweek it alittle and do letter of the day. It might give you some ideas…
