This will help your child master algebra sooner.

Remember the number system is based off of Base 10 (power of ten).

Example:

Exponents
3
10 = 10 x 10 x 10= 1000 (thousands place value)

                        -3
                     10   = 0.001 place value of thousand[b]ths[/b] place
