Lap-sized board books - bigger print?worth getting?

I’m in the process of ordering a bunch of new books for my 12 month-old son. Many of the books come in a lap-sized edition (bigger book - maybe 10 inches instead of 6 inches). Does anyone know if the print is substantially bigger in these books?? Is it worth spending the extra $4 or so per book to get the larger version? Thank you!!

Depends upon the publisher? See if you can check the publisher out by obtaining a book to look at first before buying. I myself have been dissappointed when I have purchased books without chekcing into the text size and the illustrations. I usually check out the book at my library first, but then if I buy the books in a lot like an ebay I don’t worry about it because i know eventually my kids can use the books.
