How many new words does your child learn each week?

Do you refer to reading new words or talking or even understanding the words without really talking yet.
If it reading, that will give us a good idea but I think we have to explain more in detail:

adding more info is a good idea.- I should have written this when I wasn’t so sleepy! What I meant was how many words does your child learn to read in a week.

Child’s Age : 4yrs.7 months
Started Little Reader: 4 yrs 6 months
Amount of words per week - it really depends , it can be from about 5 to 20 or more per week. I’ll have to keep track more and get an accurate count. But that is my best guestimate at the moment. Some weeks she is more motivated than others. Most times though she is on the 20 or more count per week.
Child’s Age:3 3/4
Age when you start a reading program: consistantly around 18 months
How many words learned each week: 45 on average, but have done as many as 65
