I copied your playlist from another thread. The playlist are a wonderful thing to share. But downloading copyrighted videos from youtube and making a DVD is illegal and should be a concern for people living in the USA. I am not sure but may even be a problem if the video itself is not copyrighted because youtube probably has a copyright also.
As far as other youtube videos I have playlist for Pocoyo in both English and Spanish. The signing time videos are also very educational.

Thanks for sharing. As for the copyright, would they rather I just sit with my kids on the computer watcing the clips and expose them to the filty ones masquerading as kids stuff? I do the youtube searches in the middle of the night so the kids dont see! My opinion is that if people dont want their clips put onto dvd they shouldnt have it for public viewing in the first place. It’s like…Youtube is free…if I made a dvd of Brillkids stuff for myself that is ok (KL says so, he even tried to explain how). If I ask someone else who also has paid for LR or LM to put those on dvd, as I’ve paid for them, then that should be legal…I’d do it myself if I knew how. If I did a Brillkids dvd and shared it with someone who hadnt paid for LR then that’s a breach of copyright there.
Sorry I think the copyrighted videos, youtube, and the FBI will disagree with you. I agree with your opinion that if they place it on youtube they are expecting to get it copied, but I am not willing to risk dealing with the FBI because according to what I have read it is illegal. Some of the copyrighted material on youtube is not placed there by the owner. I will stick with playlist even though I would very much like to make a dvd of the material. I also made a playlist of sherrbi files for LR versus loading them into LR because these files are also copyrighted. I have known people to get fined $5K or more for downloading copyrighted material so I try my best not to keep anything I download that might be copyrighted. Youtube makes their money from advertisements which means you have to watch the videos online and not make dvds for them to get paid for the service they provide. You can accomplish filtering bad videos for your children by creating playlist. I want what you want. I just don’t think it is legal.
Ok, that’s a valid point. So if people want my playlists, they better just store them in Youtube…
