Is there statistics on attention time in relation too the age?

I read abd know by experience that children do not pay attention for a long period of time and that is why the reading or math flashcardas has to be passed very fast.
Is there any statistics on how many minutes will children get focus on a subject before getting distracted in relation to the age and maybe gender (boy or girl) ?
I will appreciate thet information.

I would be interested too, my daughter can spend an hr reading books that I read her but is very impatient with puzzles or coloring.

Hi 2010Bebes
You might want to create a new thread, this one is ‘linked’ to a video I posted, so irrelevant with your subject…

I have to say there might be some relation to age and attention span, my son is over 2.5 years and his attention span is only a few minutes, if that at all because he wants to run and kick and play with other things. He is a big climber and its hard to teach when he is in that mood.
