IQ game - River crossing

River IQ Game

You have a 30 minute time limit to figure this out. Apparently, this is an IQ test given to job applicants in Japan:

Click on the link below and then click on the blue circle.

Here are the rules:

Everybody has to cross the river.
Only 2 persons on the raft at a time.
The father cannot stay with any of the daughters without their mother’s presence.
The mother cannot stay with any of the sons without their father’s presence.
The thief (striped shirt) cannot stay with any family member if the Policeman is not there.
Only the Father, Mother and the Policeman know how to operate the raft.

To start, click on the big! blue circle on the right.
To move the people, click on them.
To move the raft, click on the pole on the opposite side of the river.

Thanks for that game, Chris1! Finally got the hang of it!

cool game, tx!
my hubby and I put our IQs together and got them over, ha
went faster that way

In childhood, I’ve come across another version of the puzzle using these charactars:

fox, goose and bag of beans puzzle to be transported by a farmer.

Constraints:
fox cannot be left alone with the goose, and the goose cannot be left alone with the beans.

May be Indians would not like saying
“Father should not be with daughters without the mothers presence” - although its only a game

This is an interesting puzzle-i will post the solution later.

A man is looking at a portrait on a wall and says: “Brothers and sisters i have none, but this man’s father is my father’s son.”
At whose portrait is he looking?

Solving puzzles might help children to develop a logical mind-enjoy.

The man is looking at a portrait of his son.
