ipad

Does anyone know if the programs are ipad compatible?

Hi Cecej!

I think I’ve replied to your inquiry via PM, but since you put it out here in the forum, I’ll be happy to answer here as well.

Little Reader and Little Math are both software programs which have system requirements.

For reference, here’s the list of system requirements for our BrillKids software:

•	Operating System: Windows XP, Vista, and 7 for both 32 and 64-bit.
•	Intel Dual Core CPU or above
•	4 GB of system memory (RAM) or higher
•	120 GB hard drive with at least 10 GB of available space
•	CD-ROM drive (Required for CD Installation)
•	Audio output (Speakers)
•	Audio input (Microphone)
•	Internet access - Broadband highly recommended

Both programs need computers with Windows operating systems to be installed on. This means that you can’t install Little Reader and Little Math on an iPad.

However - and this is the good news - that’s not to say that you can’t get Little Reader and Little Math on your iPad. Even if these programs are not designed to work on the device, there are software programs which allow you to connect your Windows-based computer to your iPad.

On another note, we also do have a Little Reader app now available at the iTunes store. http://www.littlereadertouch.com/

It’s still at its beta stage, which means we haven’t officially launched it yet. We’ll also probably put up an update quite soon to do some improvements, but this is a great app now which lets you teach Little Reader lessons on the go. It doesn’t have the customization that Little Reader on the computer has, and you can’t create your own lessons on it. Those are the main differences it has versus the Little Reader program on a computer.

Hope this helps!
