Hi everone! I am new to this site! I have just read Doman’s books on reading and math, and I have been using YBCR for the past few months with my 2 year old with great success! Neither program teaches the alphabet. How do I go about introducing letters to my daughter in a systemmatic way? Had anyone done that before?
My daughter started asking daily for Dr. Seuss’s ABC when she was 8 months, I think. I’m a big fan, and read it we did. When she got magnetic letters for Christmas this year (at 19 months), she proudly showed everyone what they were - upper and lower case! I don’t know about systematic, but she knows her letters!
