how to pique my childs intrest in math!

I am struggling to find a way to introduce maths to my child. I can’t seem to find a way she can relate to or wants to stick at for very long. I would love some advice on how I can present the info in a way that is exciting for her.

I would love some tips on what you have done to help your children love maths.

does she like to read? how about non-fiction children’s books about math-related topics? i like the mathstart series - each book tackles one skill at a time and there are downloadable extension activities on their website for each book. here is the link for the level 1 books: http://www.mathstart.net/books/level_1/

DD1 is certainly responding more to reading by herself and being read to. So I will definetly take a look at these books they look like fun.

Im also looking for possible math dvd’s to I would love a recommendation.
