DH and I are on Chapter 7 of Doman’s HTTYBTR book.
I’m thinking about what our first 15 words will be, and I’m wondering, should I just start with the words DS is saying already?
The words he’s speaking are not necessarily the words I would choose, so I’m confused which set to go with.
What have you done?
DS is in his 13th month and he’s been speaking individual words for a while now.

I would chose the names of family members. Teach him his name, mommy, daddy, any pets, etc…
I would then start with body parts.

I WILL teach him everyday words first, which it will be easy for him because he hears them evryday in the house. Like milk,bottle,diaper,eyes,mom,dad,sister(if you have any other children) you know words that you use evryday with him.

So, I should NOT give precedence to the words he’s already saying?
The words he is already saying are everyday words right? I will start for those he is saying I guess he learns them from evryday.
