Aww, wish I would have seen this sooner!!! Missed it by 2 days…Hope you had a good time! My daughter’s big day is coming up also and I was hoping there might be some ideas here. Let us know what you came up with!

some things that I follow:
Keep it on a weekend so all can come
create invitation list with help of your kid, if he/she is too small, call all kids he/ she seems to like
create a theme - not too dressy for young kids, depending on teh season
keep limited items
keep finger foods for kids, one item for elders.
keep mother-toddler games.

-keep the timing before or after nap, so nobody gets too fussy…
-have some simple games (musical chairs, but put enough for everyone to get one) and play with the kids
-stay relaxed no matter what last minute things didn’t get done
-get a balloon artist to come and twist for the party (that’s me, ha-ha lol )
