My son can subitize 5 items currently. Though not consistent, he mostly says the correct answer. I have not yet taught him counting. But I think that it is human nature to subitize 5 items. I am curious to know if your child can subitize more than 5 items. If so, what methods did you use with your child.
my eldest has never been able to subsitiza quantity at all. My youngest I have no idea.
