I am teaching my child our native language,which is bulgarian.I am still showing words.But I will soon continue with couplets.Can you tell me how long I have to show couplets before I continue with phrases?
There are no rules about this. Just play it by ear. It’s fine to expose him/her to phrases sometimes even before she has mastered couplets, just for variety.
