Thanks nhockaday!

By being emotionally intelligent. OUr children watch us. OUr children learn from us. OUr children immitate us. How you deal with your relations… spousal, friends, parents, children is where the guidelines will be set…
Your child may test a couple reactions they see outside the home that they consider “cool” and it is your job to set the record straight…
. Be honest.

I have reminded my son a couple times of a playdate mate that was sour when they were playing… and my son would mimic his friends behavoiur… I would remind him that he didnt like his friends behavoiur that day, and I dont like the way he is acting… Once you call your childs behavoiur respectfully (not by yelling just by suttly pointing it out) they stop… they rememer how it feels to bbe on the short stick.

Treat your child with emotional intelligence… and believe that they have more in them that we give them credit for… and everything will fall into place as long as you consistently set the right example.

Thank you Mandi,

Good to know!

That’s what I had thought.
After all, we are their biggest role models and they immulate us.
